YUMMMMMM...sounds odd but you have to try them, have a look at the amount of sugar and butter in them, no wonder they are delicious! Mr 4 screwed his nose up when we put the chick peas in the mixture but he has since then eaten 3 cookies (they have only been out of the oven 5mins) and i think he has forgotten about the chick peas altogether! You seriously wouldn't know they are in there - don't think it matters much that they are eating 4 or 5 chickpeas per cookie when there is that much sugar and butter in them though!! I used 3/4 the amount of sugar and butter and they are still yummy!

Today i went to deliver some stock to our brisbane stockist Groovy Kids which i fell in love with instantly.....while there i got very lost and the fact that you can't really turn around anywhere if you miss the turn off led me to frustration so parked up and took the opportunity to do some touristy things.....went to the museum, then the science centre and then the big wheel of Brisbane....i love random unplanned days, they always seem to be the best!

Well haven't we been busy little bees...averaging about 18 hours per day at the warehouse getting orders packed since our winter stock arrived...And after packing 3 pallettes worth we don't care if we never see another cardboard box! Hopefully by the time our next season arrives we will have enough pennies to employ someone to do it and not just count on our wonderful friend Janine to help us....Thanks noon...xxx

Yey....... I am sure that there is a lot of you that will be happy to hear that our beautiful winter garments have arrived into the country after a LONG stint in customs and hiccups with shipping they will be in our hot little hands on The Gold Coast tomorrow!! We are very excited, however at the same time, Kate and i know that we are going to have an extremely hectic week packing around forty plus orders... wooow!
Oh, I should also update you all on our performance at the recent NRA Fashion awards at Pacific Fair. The girls performed extremely well, we were so proud of them all and our clothes looked great, even if I say so myself..he he. We didn't get through to the finals though, which was a little disappointing, but what a great experience it was and a fantastic way to show case our range! here are some photos above to show you all.

The other day i took our photographer Fran from lumin-essence.com.au out to the Eco Village to show her where she will be shooting our wedding and i gave my kids a muffin we had made that morning to eat in the car on the way out - anyway when we got there i found crumbs in every single cm of the back of the car....so when i read lisa's blog (sweetbeets) today and saw that she had put a recipe for banana muffins that apparently don't crumble everywhere i thought i would give it a go!
YUUUMMMMMMM....they are the best muffins i have ever tasted! Seriously...the secret ingredient - yogurt - works!!
Here's the recipe:
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
6 tbsp softened butter
3/4 cup sugar
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 cup plain or vanilla yogurt (I used fresh passionfruit yogurt which i think made it even better)
1 cup mashed bananas (about 3 bananas)
Combine the flour, baking powder and salt. Cream the butter and sugar using a mixer. Beat in the eggs and rest of wet ingredients. Add the dry ingredients.
Bake at 180 deg C for 25 minutes. Makes 12 muffins.
Another thing that lisa said in her blog is how much her kids love helping cook and that she wants to make the most of it and that is soooo true, i think it is something so simple that we take for granted...Xaviah loves it and I hope he will for a little while longer - I'm not quite ready for him to be too cool to cook with his mama.....
p.s. This is all the crumbs these delicious muffins produced - and X is one of the messiest eaters known to man kind...
